I am writer, poet, punk rock kid, sentimental pack rat, former New Yorker, and fan of parallel structure. I am a mess of contradictions. I write poetry about punk rock kids, tell readers about bands they should listen to and books they should read, take photos of beautiful moments and gritty places, and repurpose discarded treasures.
I hold Creative Writing degrees from SUNY Purchase (BA) and Wilkes University (MFA) and have been published in kick ass journals but am still looking to get my whole collection published.
Prior to all the fancy education and publication credits, I was raised by rock n’ roll parents who knew the importance of concerts and going past the no trespassing signs. I spent my adolescence in a small town punk rock scene where I moshed, fell in love, and produced a few cut and paste zines.
Love letters and mix tapes welcome.
